Sour & Gose

Sour and Gose beers are a massively diverse group of beers which are probably the furthest removed from the standard family of ‘ales’. Using things like wild yeast strains or preserving fruits in salt prior to fermenting gives this family of beers their typical ‘sour’ tastes. With a whole host of fruit forward flavours and a usually lower ABV, these beers are perfect for sipping on a hot summers day or when you simply want something a bit more refreshing than your standard ale.
